During a raid on the city of Lahore, earlier this year, Pakistani law enforcement apprehended al Salafi, a leader of ISIS who's mission was to recruit young people to fight in Syria.
Pakistani law enforcement later investigated al Salafi, along with two other people arrested in the raid, and found that al Salafi was funded through the U.S., according to the Daily Express.
