Twitter has released their newest transparency report, which shows the largest growth of government requests for people's twitter account information, that twitter has ever seen (a growth of 52% from 2,871 requests of 2014). Not only is this the largest ever amount of twitter information requests, made by governments, but the U.S. goverment's requests made up 56% of the requests. The second most requests submitted were from Japan, making up only ten percent of the requests. India submitted 113 requests, a 175% increase compared to last year.
