A study done by Ohio State University in January of 2015, discovered that men and women who take more selfies than the average social media user, have higher levels of psychopathy and narcissism. In the study it also included the fact that narcissism negatively affects both our platonic and romantic relationships.
Some people say selfies are unhealthy for relationships and some say selfies represent self-love. But one thing is clear, too much technology is not good for you. According to a study conducted in Canada found that human's have a shorter attention span than gold fish, and it's due to the screens on our phones and computers etc..
But since we live in the modern world it's hard not to use technology. So my advice to you is spend one or more night a week spending time with loved ones, family members, or friends going out to dinner, playing a board game, starting a book club, or anything without a screen. Another tip of advice is to spend a night by yourself reading or taking part in a physical activity. You can even print these articles off and read them on paper.
